Don’t you love how I manifested the setting sun above my head? Ok, not really. It was just one of those lucky sunsets. No magic. But I had to focus on my breath to stay still and present in the moment – to get the shot.
Attention, Productivity and Resilience are the three most valuable commodities in our “always-on” world in business. After two decades in news, volunteering for Hospice, and years of meditation and yoga, I’ve developed programs to reduce stress in the work-life merge.
Deadlines, global competition, career reinvention, advances in technology, economic tumult and a changing corporate job market make for a lethal combination. Staying aware and calm in a 24/7 uncertain world is challenging. But reducing stress and refueling will give you the competitive edge you need to consume the chaos. Especially in the corporate or entrepreneurial arena where personal “wellness” is so easily overlooked.
When you “feed” your personal inner reservoir of stillness on a regular basis, it accumulates. It’s like a bank account of energy which you can dip into, and ignite, when you need it most. That’s what I help business people and corporate leaders do. I teach breathing, meditation and work-life integration techniques to reduce stress and cultivate resilience. I also work with clients to reduce stress in their presentations or media appearances.
As I’ve worked with clients it’s become clear that they have benefited most from consistent practice. To achieve the best results I generally work with people on a weekly basis for one-to-three month increments. Meditation Coaching: In one-on-one skype sessions, you will learn a number of different meditation and breathing techniques. We work together to choose the best tools that work FOR YOU – within your schedule. You’ll be guided at your own pace, with the techniques that are comfortable for you.
Executive Stress Reduction: This program is designed to help business people and corporate leaders create their individual work-life refueling program through meditation, stress reduction techniques, breath work, guided imagery and work-life flexibility strategies. This is available in one-on-one skype or corporate group sessions. You’ll learn mindful techniques to manage stress, and navigate information, conscious communication, creating boundaries, and redefining success.
